The Mulberry Tree is a quaint little cafe located in the heart of the Bridgetown strip, open for breakfast and lunch, there’s a lot to love. We stopped in for a wander through the town and the atmosphere out front of the cafe caught our eye. We stopped in for lunch and ordered the cheeseburger and chicken burger. Both meals were tasty. The hand cut chips were delicious and perfectly fried with the right amount of chicken salt and some tomato sauce for good measure. The burgers both had a great overall flavour, everything complimented well. The chicken and beef patty both needed more flavour to really standout in the meals, some spices and salt would do wonders. That being said the rest of the burger complimented that and it’s tasted great overall. I would definitely go back for breakfast and try some of their early morning options which sounded amazing.

Great little spot for lunch in the centre of town. Chicken panini was good, my curry pie average, next to no meat, very pleasant staff.

Had a light lunch here. Quick service, food generally was good. Turkey toasted brie was nice. Felt the raiseen toast was a little average as I am used to the thick slices at the Dome with nice homemade preserves. All good.

Delicious fresh juices, great brunch and lovely coffee. The homemade hash brown was very good and the icing on the cake, literally, was their carrot cake. So good.

Great food for a good price. We got the steak chunky pie, pepper steak chunky pie and spinach and ricotta roll and a vanilla milkshake. The fillings were great with plenty of meat. The milkshake was big and tasty. Avoid the window sandwiches ours was a bit stale. If you are looking for a stopover this is the place.
